Viv Lucas is a singer songwriter based in Hertfordshire, England. His album Edgelands, features ten original songs.
Viv learned a few chords on the guitar at school and went on, as a teenager, to play bass in a prog rock band called Fool's Errand. A medical career in palliative care and family life side lined musical activity for a while emerging some years later to play an acoustic tribute to Neil Young as Southern Man, performing in various pubs in Hertfordshire, fundraising concerts for the local hospice and Motor Neurone Disease Association, and further afield at the Cottingham Springboard Festival in Hull.
He is interested in the use of music in healthcare, particularly creative song writing.
Viv also plays with Al Hewson in the duo Americano performing the music of Neil Young, Johnny Cash, James Taylor, The Eagles and more.
