Edgelands

This album came to be through a creative partnership with music therapist, Bob Heath. I thank him for his musicianship, encouragement, production skills and ability to get inside my songs, some of which are up close and personal.

Out On The Edge, the final song on the album,was inspired by a chapter about the 'edgelands' where town and country meet in Robert Macfarlane's fabulous book, Landmarks'which explores the relationship between landscape and language. My songs explore the metaphorical edgelands between life and death, illness and health, degradation and conservation...

The album was mastered by Pete Lamb.
